Richmond Prep is a uniquely inspired liberal arts pre-school and elementary school established in 1983. Our school’s mission is to provide our students with the absolute best educational experience possible, facilitated in an environment that is designed to reflect the loving philosophy of Jesus Christ in a powerful and tangible way. Our students leave the halls of Richmond Prep with solid academic instruction, an appreciation for arts and culture and a love for learning that will last them throughout their academic careers. For nearly three decades, our students have graduated from our academy to matriculate in Richmond’s finest college preparatory programs and have continued onward to matriculate at some of finest universities in the country. We take great pride in our guiding principle, established by our first head of school, Dr. Mary Gordon West: "Let everything we do at this school be done with loving inspiration and care."
