Our brick and mortar store at the heart of Portland’s historic Mississippi District and our web shop offer a thoughtfully curated collection of indoor and outdoor plants, house-made living art pieces and home wares. Each piece is chosen with a keen attention to design, form and function.

Committed to cultivating community in and around our neighborhood, the vast majority of our product offering is sourced locally – from Willamette Valley plant wholesalers to Portland-based artists and makers. The nursery is a gathering place for people who are as passionate and curious about plants, urban homesteading and innovative spaces as we are.

Pistils Landscape Design is a natural extension of this vision, offering full-service design and installation services, with a highly custom approach that fits the specific requirements of each client and their unique outdoor spaces. Our designers strive to craft landscapes that seamlessly connect the in and out of doors, fluid spaces in which to “live outside.”
