Years ago I started researching essential oils and their uses, and began making little concoctions and potions for myself and my family. Later, when I was first pregnant, I took a serious look at all the chemical-laden cosmetics and skin care products that filled my shelves.

I cleaned out my cabinets, and started using only natural products. I started out using just raw ingredients, and then began formulating my own potions using the essential oils I had collected.

Your skin is your largest organ, and absorbs whatever you put on it. If you are using products with parabens, silicones, synthetic chemicals, fragrances and petroleum-derived ingredients, all those nasties will be absorbed right into your body. If you wouldn't eat it, why put it on your body?

Recently, I was encouraged to bring my products to the local market. They were very well received, as it seems there are other people searching for truly natural skin care. I am so happy to share my passion with others, and am devoted to creating high quality, 100% natural skin care potions.

Pickle's potions are handcrafted with cold pressed vegetable oils, butters and botanical extracts carefully selected for their properties and benefits.
I only use 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils, NEVER any fragrance oils or synthetic versions. Everything is handcrafted in very small batches to ensure optimum freshness and potency.

I NEVER use any pre-made bases. Lots of products that are marketed as 'handmade' are actually just purchased bases with added fragrances.

You will never find any synthetic colors, fragrances or preservatives in my potions. No petroleum-derived ingredients or parabens, no sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), sodium laureth sulphate (SLS), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA), monoethanolamine (MEA) or polyethylene glycol (PEG). Absolutely no genetically modified (GMO) or engineered ingredients, and no water, synthetic emulsifiers or fillers. And of course, there is never any testing on animals.

Oh yes, and there are no actual pickles used in these potions...it's just my family nickname.
