ParksFest is a free, all-day, music festival in Evansville's Garvin Park on Saturday, September 10th. ParksFest is in partnership with Miller Lite, Leinenkugel, and the Anna and Benjamin Bosse Foundation.

The festival is focused around engaging the community and bringing awareness to the city parks as well as giving the community a fun thing to do for the day.

ParksFest is an environment for anyone to come and have a great time no matter their age or background. The festival will start at 11:00AM and run until around 11:00pm. We will be using the band stand area at the end of Main St in Garvin Park as the stage and then the surrounding area for the rest of our activities.

Early in the day the event will be more family oriented with games for children and family friendly activities. As the day progresses we will move into a more adult friendly event. There is no specific genre for the type of music that will be played as we were trying to stick to the theme of ‘an event for everyone’.

ParksFest will have an area for local artists and businesses to setup booths to sell their items produced here locally. We will also have food vendors lining the streets with local non-profit organizations setup between them passing out information for their cause.
