Opera at USC 4.15

Opera at USC is the University of South Carolina's School of Music's nationally recognized opera program. Directed by Ellen Douglas Schlaefer, the company produces two main stage productions (locations vary) with orchestra a year and an evening of one acts with piano in the SOM recital hall. The company is made up of undergraduate and graduate students. Opera at USC also participates in community engagement including outreach programs in area schools and assisted living centers. Sometimes the program even tours!
