OUR HERITAGE
Northland Reformed Church is a member congregation of the Reformed Church in the United States (founded in 1748). Our history goes back Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth-century. The Reformers and their disciples summarized the teachings of Scripture in several historic documents called the Three Forms of Unity, the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), the Belgic Confession (1561) and the Canons of Dort (1619). As a congregation and denomination, we have embraced them as ours. We believe they still clearly summarize the teachings of Holy Scripture.
