What Does North Star Baby Grace Offer?

Quarterly Open Houses: North Star Baby Grace members have the opportunity to shop in our “free store” 4 times a year. Clothes, books, strollers, toys, and more are available for the taking. North Star Baby Grace attempts to provide each family with a small package of diapers at each Open House, however we cannot guarantee diapers will be available. These events also provide time to connect with other young moms and Baby Grace volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities: It takes a small army to prepare for an Open House! Baby Grace members are encouraged to spend at least 2 hours in the 2 weeks leading up to Open House by helping us sort donations, package diapers, clean toys, and set-up. Those that volunteer to set up are awarded 1st or 2nd group entry into Open House.

Grace Camp: Church camp just for young moms. Held every summer at Wilderness Retreat and Development Center in Lawson, Missouri, this camp allows mother and child a chance to get away, while getting to know a church community that cares for them and their family.

Christian Based Activities: Spring Carnival, Trunk or Treat and Breakfast with Santa are just a few of the annual North Star Church activities Baby Grace members can enjoy.

The Power of Prayer working for young parents and their children. Our mothers always know that the youth of our church are praying for them and their children daily.



What Does North Star Baby Grace NOT Offer?

Emergency Assistance: North Star Baby Grace is not equipped to provide emergency or walk-in assistance. We do not have a representative in the office. Assistance is provided at scheduled quarterly Open Houses. Our ministry is run by the Youth Group and Baby Grace adult volunteers at North Star Church who are available each Sunday morning at both 9:00 and 10:30 services. If there is a specific urgent need please visit at that time.

Financial Assistance: Due to these limited resources, we are not able to provide financial assistance of any kind. North Star Baby Grace is a non-profit ministry fully funded by Youth Group fundraisers and private donations.
