Normandale Japanese Garden 1.35

Conceived in 1967, the Normandale Japanese Garden was designed by Tokyo landscape architect Takao Watanabe and constructed on two acres of Bloomington's Normandale Community College campus. Open to the public year-round (when not reserved for private events, announced here) and without charge, the garden is supported by the Normandale Community College Foundation, private donations and fundraising events, and fees from private photo sessions and weddings held on the grounds.
