Plant to Launch

We are extremely excited to be announcing the official launch date for New Hope Community Church which will be Easter Sunday, April 5. What an awesome day to launch a church! The day we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We couldn’t be more excited!! We anticipate God doing some awesome things on that day, and every time we meet in the future as well. We will always be a church that invites the Holy Spirit to have His way in our midsts. That typically results in seeing lives changed, marriages and relationships restored, past hurts healed, and people growing closer to Christ in their personal relationship with Him.

New Hope Community Church is being planted by Non-Profit group, “Decision For Hope”, a religious organization founded by Pastor Dave Utt. “Decision For Hope” has had an incredible amount of success in it’s birth years. Pastor Dave has had wonderful opportunities to work with orphanages in Uganda and Kenya to provide training and resources to help equip children with the necessary skills to be able to take some of the much needed engineering jobs in Africa.

Decision For Hope prides itself in being a “Billy Graham inspired ministry”. A great highlight of 2015 was the opportunity to work with Bill Gaither and the vocal band. One of the exciting things about this Church plant is the many exciting Decision For Hope ministries that New Hope will be providing to the local area. One of those ministries will be launching later on this month: New Hope ~ Hope for Students.Scholarships will be available for 4-6 Jr. High and High School students per semester, whom are struggling academically, based heavily upon a lack of resources. Those approved could receive a laptop computer, 3 month internet package, and/or weekly tutoring.

New Hope already has an active youth group and children’s department. The New Hope Children’s Ministry (formally known as Caravan), meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm. The Youth Group (New Hope Teens 4 Jesus) meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm. Both groups meet at the New Hope Community Church, located at the Heritage Grand Inn.

In the same way that a Desire is enhanced by Hope, Desire and Hope are both enhanced by Faith.

“Faith is the reality of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “
Hebrews 11:1

A Hope becomes a reality when God conveys its reality to our heart. He changes the expectation into a reality. The desire and its hope are given reality through the agency of Faith, but they remain what they are. Just as Desire is not changed into Hope, Hope is not changed into Faith.

Jesus is the object of our Hope, and we patiently wait for Him in Faith. He is the Hope for which we are in Faith. He is real whether we know it or not. He becomes a reality to us when we know that He is a reality, and we know He is a reality by the Faith in our hearts. He does not change – we are the ones who change – when we receive the impartation of His reality from God into our hearts. We receive the reality of something that already is, and it becomes our reality. This impartation, this ‘hearing’ from God, is the evidence of things not seen (to the world).
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Christ).

Romans 10:17
Desire gives us focus, Hope gives us expectation, and Faith gives us reality. The Desire is the purpose and Faith is the means.
Hope is still a Hope, even when it becomes a reality.
