Don Necker’s trade was watches, but his true passion was nestled in the desire to give people the best customer service experience they could ask for. In 1952 Don & Dorothy Necker bought a successful jewelry store that had been open since 1893. They re-named it Necker’s Jewelers. From the start, their focus was on the customer, the community and their growing family. Eventually their two sons, Dave and DJ Necker would join their father and help expand the dream adding two more locations. Later, those three stores would evolve into two mega stores; one in DeWitt and the other in Davenport. Today, Necker’s Jewelers holds true to their original vision.
