Ms. Nessia's Place Early Learning Center 3.96

My name is Nessia Abrams. Many years ago, God placed a calling on my heart to open a daycare. One in which children will learn as well as be cared for by a loving and compassionate person. I answered that call by enrolling in college to obtain my degree. I received an associates degree in education through Pennhighland's Community College. Then I went on to receive a bachelor's degree in business management concentrating in education administration. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I returned for a masters degree in child development. While attending school, I raised three boys and taught at the Cambria County Head Start for seven years. I resigned my position with Head Start to teach for a local business in their pre-k counts program. I taught in the pre-k counts program and also worked in the daycare department, teaching and in administration. After working for others for such a long time, God whispered it's time! So on March 5, 2013, I began the long and grulling process of opening my own daycare. On April 26, 2013, it became official and the long road and the calling God placed on my heart ten years prior, was now a reality.
