About the owner: Morgantown Paint Company owner Nick DeMedici is a Morgantown native who grew up in the First Ward area and a 2003 graduate of Morgantown High School. After graduating Nick attended Fairmont State University while working as part of the grounds crew at Mylan Park Baseball Complex. In 2005 he gained employment with the Monongalia County Sheriffs Office as a Deputy Sheriff. From 2005 thru 2014 Nick held several different law enforcement positions within the Sheriffs Office. In 2014 Nick left the Sheriffs Office when he was hired by the West Virginia State Police as a State Trooper. Initially stationed at the Preston County detachment, where he worked until 2016 at which point he was transferred to the Morgantown detachment. In August of 2016 Nick left the state police and became the full time owner / operator of Morgantown Paint Company. Nick has always enjoyed construction type work and in February of 2016 he founded the Morgantown Paint Company in order to provide a professional painting service to those in the area. Nick prides himself in the professionalism of himself and his work and will not finish the job until the customer is 100 % satisfied with the finished product.
