The Military Aviation Museum features one of the world's largest collections of historic military aircraft.
Each airframe has undergone a painstaking restoration, using original components, whenever possible.
Truly a living museum, new aircraft are in restoration at facilities around the world.
Simultaneously, the Museum complex, at the Virginia Beach Airport, is being transformed by the installation of additional structures.
In 2012, the 1934 Luftwaffe Hangar, originally from Cottbus, Germany, was opened. It now serves to house the Museum's collection of WWII-vintage German aircraft.
