Luigi’s is the oldest, continuously family owned and operated restaurant in Colorado Springs. Luigi’s opened in 1958, and through the hard work and determination of Leo & Anne Cervetti, their children, their family and countless dedicated employees, Luigi’s lives on today.

Thanks to our loyal customers, Luigi’s has been able to survive the onslaught of chains, the ups and downs of an uncertain economy, the whims of mother nature, fad dieting, and the northeast direction of development and population growth.

We at Luigi’s believe that our side of town is still wonderful and vital, with tremendous potential. It is special and unique, keeping its small town neighborly feel, with a touch of quirkiness that is characteristic of the south side. This has been OUR neighborhood for over 57 years, and we’re not going anywhere!

Luigi’s has been, and always will be, a family restaurant. My family built the business by catering to families. You can bring your family, young and old, knowing that Luigi’s is a family environment. Generations of families celebrate milestones, passings, transitions, and simple moments. Our signed wine bottles have become a history of special moments people have shared at Luigi’s.

Luigi’s has served over 1.2 million dinners in our 57 years. We’ve made over 1 million tortellacci, 1.3 million ravioli, and around 450,000 meatballs! These are all hand made items, made on site by our dedicated pasta crew. Les makes the meatballs and our spicy Italian sausage. It’s all very labor intensive, but well worth the effort.

Gina (daughter of the original owners) and Les (Gina’s husband) are the last in the Cervetti family to operate Luigi’s. They have been working in the restaurant for the last 27 years. Les and Gina have not, and will not, change what Luigi’s does best. The recipes have changed very little in 57 years. Luigi’s prides itself on using only the highest quality ingredients and no preservatives or artificial ingredients in our food.

Our customers tell us they like that their favorite entree is still on the menu after 50 years. We listen to our customers. YOU are why we’re still in business after 57 years.
