► Our Mission Statement
With Jesus as our guide, we at Little Children’s Ministry let the little children come to us that we might love and care for them. Our mission is to provide a loving and caring environment. We endeavor to give children a firm foundation to begin life by showing them in the earliest stages of life that they are safe and loved unconditionally by Jesus Christ.

► Our Purpose
It is our desire to provide a safe, loving, Christian environment for the children of our community; to create a learning environment appropriate for each child’s stage of development; to help them grow spiritually, socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally. Our goal is to serve the people of our community by strengthening the children and their families.

► Your Child’s Spiritual Growth Is Important to Us!
We will begin each day with a devotional especially designed for children. This will consist of a brief Bible verse and related story, followed by group discussion and a time for songs and prayer. Children will learn of God’s love and care for them and to love and care for others.

► Our Educational Philosophy
Children will learn those skills needed to begin Kindergarten…how to tie their shoes, count to ten, distinguish numbers from letters, print their names properly, give their proper addresses and phone numbers. Our ministry will work on developing social skills. Preschool children will learn to share and follow simple instructions. Lessons will be on topics of interest to small children. An emphasis will be on language development with many songs, finger plays, rhymes, etc.

Hands-on-learning will be stressed. Your child will be strengthened by individual and group activities which inspire creativity and discovery. Learning will be fun and in no way stressful for the child.

► Parents Are Important to Us, Too!
You may visit with us at any time. Feel free to join in our activities. Your suggestions will be appreciated! Please feel free to share joys and concerns with our teachers and leaders of the Little Children’s Ministry. We are honored to have you share your lives with us.

If there are matters affecting your family that may also be of concern to your child, please let us know. We need to be aware of those times calling for extra love and understanding. We will strive to keep you informed of the highlights of your child’s day. You will be informed of your child’s progress, as well as problems or signs of illness.
