Lifeway is a group of real people from all walks of life coming together to discover life pursuing an incredible God. We believe that loving Jesus, loving each other and loving our community has to be our highest calling. Lifeway began in September of 2006 with a group of dedicated families that love the community of Arlington.

We are a community of believers that place our hope in Jesus Christ. That’s pretty critical for us to grab onto...Our goal is to help people find and follow Jesus. We know that a life following Christ is just as important M-F as it is on Sunday so our desire is to help people ‘live outloud’ in their everyday moments.

Lifeway is a place where you can grow spiritually, build lasting friendships and have an impact on your surrounding neighbors.

You're welcome here...we know everyone has their own story, questions, doubts and struggles. We don’t believe that wholeness is just a dream but God’s desire for our lives. Let’s discover that desire together! We don’t have all of the answers...but we believe in a God who does!

What matters to us?

Anytime you are considering a new place to connect with, it’s pretty important that you know what matters to that place. We are all making decisions at a rapid pace...what decisions you make and how you live come out of what matters to you and what you believe in. What we believe in as a community shapes everything we do. Put simply our mission is to love God and love people.

Our Structure

We are a part of the Foursquare denomination. "Foursquare" is a Biblical term used of the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, of the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and of Heaven, as described in the book of the Revelation.

The term "Foursquare Gospel" was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination's founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, during an evangelistic campaign in Oakland, Calif., in 1922.

It represents something that is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring. Such confidence in the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse, Hebrews 13:8 ‘Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever.”

At Lifeway we strive to always stand firmly on the Bible and see ministry flow from that starting point. In Ephesians 4:4-6 we see the starting point for church ministry; "There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope when you were called - one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."

Our structure is organized in such a way that we maintain God as the head of the Church. We also believe in Team Leadership as seen in Ephesians 4. Our Pastoral team is set up to help the church grow and expand with health while maintaining excellence in all areas.

The Pastoral team currently serves as the Elders at Lifeway, setting the vision, mission, and weekly direction for the church. One Pastor does not hold a higher position than the others. We work in unity to accomplish the work of the Church while praying and seeking direction and wisdom from God to implement his will for Lifeway. We are each responsible for different areas in Lifeway's church ministry.

We also have a functioning council made up of partners of Lifeway. They are responsible in maintaining the financial integrity of the church. Each council member serves a two year term and are voted on by the Lifeway partners.
