We are the Official Facebook Page for Lake Cumberland - Russell County, and the Lake Cumberland Tourist Commission. Jamestown & Russell Springs is located right off the Cumberland Parkway at exit 62, about 30 minutes from Somerset, Kentucky. We are proud to be the home of four flourishing and very popular marinas including The State Dock, Jamestown Marina, Indian Hills Alligator II Marina and our newest addition, Wolf Creek Marina. You will be able to rent any boat from a kayak and paddleboard to pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats to gorgeous luxury Houseboats! In Russell County you will also find a wonderful array of lake side restaurants; motels; cabins; cottages; great attractions, Farm Tours and more!

Of course we are the Lake and so much more...guests to Lake Cumberland can take a scenic horseback ride, feed the trout at the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, or catch a play or musical production at the historic Star Theater. We are also proud to have the very popular Lake Cumberland State Resort Park that features activities all year long as well as disc golf, putt putt, miles of hiking trails, indoor outdoor pools and seasonal horseback riding.

Enjoy fishing and ready to catch the big one? Lake Cumberland offers trophy-size stripers and hold the state records for brown and rainbow trout and walleye. For fly fishermen, the Cumberland River below Wolf Creek Dam offers some of the best trout fishing in the country!
