Kokosing's story has humble beginnings in the small rural community of Fredericktown, Ohio. Two men began turning work into jobs so they could feed their families. Others joined them along the way, to become one of the largest construction companies in the Midwest and 70th in the nation. Those values still ring true today as Kokosing Inc. has grown to encompass transportation, industrial, and marine contracting capabilities as well as asphalt and aggregate supply. Throughout this growth and development Kokosing Inc. has stayed consistently grounded to the roots of its beginning.
