Kiwanis of Lee County 3.6

The Kiwanis Club of Lee County was started in 1988. There were 31 Charter Members who forged the way towards creating the successful club that we are today. Each year in October we celebrate the "birth of our club" with a special evening of food, entertainment, fun and fellowship. This event is called Charter Night honoring the date that we were chartered as a club.

Over the years our service projects, fund raisers, and even members have changed but not the dedication for serving the children of Lee County and the world. We are volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child at a time through guidance, service and example.

Some of our accomplishments include
1) Sponsorship of the Kiwanis Children's Park Place
2) Co-Sponsorship of The Coalition for Families
3) Co-Sponsorship of The Aktion Club of Lee County which was one of the first in the state.
4) Sponsorship of the Key Club at Southern Lee High School
