KIPP Bayview Academy is a tuition-free, college-preparatory, public middle school located in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Since KIPP Bayview Academy opened its doors in 2003, it has consistently proven that with hard work and commitment, traditionally underserved students can achieve outstanding success.

The mission of KIPP Bayview Academy is to develop in the students of Southeastern San Francisco the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and character traits needed to succeed in top quality high schools and colleges, and to lead deliberate and productive lives.

The vision of KIPP Bayview Academy is to provide all students with an outstanding education that emphasizes critical thinking, reading, and writing in all content areas. This education, along with the promotion of excellent citizenship, service, and the appreciation of diversity, will develop tenacious college bound leaders.
