K9 Battle Buddies is owned & operated by veterans and their family's for veterans. We provide veterans w/service dogs for PTSD & other disabilities w/no cost to the veteran.

We have partnered up with Dogs for Heroes, also founded and operated by Veterans, to continue their proven, respected, and perfected training program for PTSD Service dogs here in Georgia. We are based out of Ludowici, GA making us local to our veterans in and around Ft. Stewart and Hunter Air Force Base.

Our goal is to take a rescue dog that would be considered unadoptable due to breed and age, pair them with a veteran, and train them to be a service dog. We are not breed specific, however we do prefer PitBulls because of their loyalty characteristic and because they are misunderstood just like a veteran with PTSD.

We have lost more veterans to suicide than we lost in the entire war. We are here to reach out and make a difference! We understand because we have been there!
