Joy Reed Training & Management 3.25

Joy grew up riding Arabian horses and started training professionally in 2002. Her mother, Julie, has owned and bred Arabians for the past 40 years. “When I was a kid riding was a part of life, and all extra-curricular activities included horses. We had our horses at home so every day before and after school my sister and I would take care of them.” Joy started out showing at local schooling shows and at the age of 14 graduated to class “A” Arabian shows. At the 2001 Canadian National Championship Show, Joy won her first national titles with her Half-Arab hunter pleasure gelding, KSChanticlare. “Since a child, all I can remember wanting to be a horse trainer.” Joy also has numerous Scottsdale, Regional, and class “A” wins and has worked with many reputable horseman. "My mission is to help build confidence, self-esteem, pride, and responsibility in youth and adult riders. All of this is accomplished in a safe and fun learning environment." Joy's program accommodates the beginner rider and can advance to participating in competitive horse shows.
