Decisions regarding the liquidation of an estate or a lifetime collection can be overwhelming. Sometimes quick or uninformed decisions can lead to the disposal of your assets for values far less than their true worth.With one call to JDs Auction Gallery; we will take the first step with you to help you make the best choices for realizing the greatest potential value from your assets. Our experienced specialists will evaluate your items and determine whether they have a place in the global market through one of our auctions.
Beginning December 2014 we will handle estates of any size and also welcome individual items of significant interest. We will seek primarily antique furniture and decorative arts, porcelains, art glass, antique oil paintings, modern & contemporary fine art, estate jewelry, fine French, Continental & American antique furniture, Asian art, antique & modern sculpture, mid-century furnishings, clocks, books, antique silver, and folk art. We will also evaluate other categories of significant or historical importance and rare, unusual items.
An initial evaluation can take place either at your home, at our gallery, or you will be afforded an opportunity to submit an auction estimate request form directly on our website at www.jdsauctions.com Appraisal professionals will help you determine the estimated auction value of your items. In addition, we will walk you through our consignment agreement and auction process so you are comfortable in your decision and expectations. Again, it’s about keeping things simple.
From here, we handle all the details. We photograph, research, and catalogue your items, complete final estimated values and market them to our extensive global market of buyers. Twenty-one business days following the auction, you will receive your proceeds.
