The Husky Union Building was founded as a Student Union in 1949 and is dedicated to fostering a community among all UW students & personnel. Following a 2-year remodel, the HUB reopened in 2012 with new meeting & event spaces, student services, and facility features.

The HUB is committed to successfully providing services to the students, staff, and faculty of the UW community. The HUB relies on its professional and student staff to carry out its mission and to enrich student engagement as a meeting and event venue, service provider, and employer.
