It is one of four fire departments located in Plum Borough, Allegheny County, which is located approximately 15 miles east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Holiday Park along with three other volunteer fire departments protects approximately 29 square miles and 36,000 residents. Our community consists of commercial, light industrial and residential units; single family & multi family dwellings. Our immediate response area consists of approximately 1200 multi family units, 330 businesses and 2800 single family dwellings along with numerous churches, schools and light industrial buildings.

The services that we provide the residents of Plum include, all phases of fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue operations, and a Quick Response Service (QRS) which assists Plum Emergency Medical Services on emergency medical calls. Take a look at our apparatus page to see our fire and rescue equipment.

Holiday Park Fire Department was established in 1963, when the Holiday Park area began to grow at such a fast pace that several individuals had the foresight to begin a department that could provide quick fire service to the immediate area. Since that time, the men and women of the department have worked very hard to make sure the equipment used is the latest that technology has to offer and the best training available is provided. We believe that safety for our residents and firefighters is our number one goal.

In the year 2011 Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to 696 calls, 375 fire calls and 321 medical calls. Be sure to look at our stats for 2012 to see what we have done so far this year.
