Hog Island Beer Co. 5.03

Captain Kidd, according to local tradition, buried his gold on Cape Cod. It's said to be in Orleans at Money Head on the uninhabited Hog Island in Pleasant Bay. This beautiful island overlooks the famed south section of Nauset Beach and a few of the dune shacks that still dot the shore.

Feeling adventurous? You can sail, row, paddle or swim over and inspect the diggings. You may even pick up an abandoned spade, but you are not advised to use it till you know the lore of treasure trove.

We've named our brewery after this infamous island. We, along with many others have searched the sands for treasure. To date, all we've come up with are a few great beer recipes.
