The Hilliard Division of Police was formed in 1957 as a "Special Police" force made up of 20 volunteers. In 1960, the first two full-time police officers were hired. Since that time, The Hilliard Division of Police has grown with the City to an agency made up of 70 individuals who proudly serve the residents, businesses and visitors of the City of Hilliard and Norwich Township.
