Help Syrian Refugees 2.96

Amar Masri, Caleb Jehl and Sam Jarjour (from Ft. Wayne, IN) and Elias Matar traveled to Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia and Macedonia in September of 2015. Their work was in close cooperation and conjunction with the Indiana Center for Middle East Peace (Amar and Sam are board members). Their goals in traveling were threefold. First, they purchased and distributed relief kits to the refugees. Second, they volunteered with organizations like Caritas (Catholic Relief Service). And lastly, they documented the journey of the refugees by making a film. The film will be used to raise awareness of the plight of the refugees in keeping with the mission of the Indiana Center for Middle East Peace.

Elias is a film maker form Los Angeles. Elias and Amar are fluent in Levant Arabic.
