Hartland is a village in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, along the Bark River, and is a suburb of Milwaukee. The population was 9,110 at the 2010 census.GeographyHartland is located at . It is in the Lake Country area of Waukesha County.According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 5.17sqmi, of which, 5.12sqmi of it is land and 0.05sqmi is water.Demographics2010 censusAs of the census of 2010, there were 9,110 people, 3,566 households, and 2,440 families residing in the village. The population density was 1779.3PD/sqmi. There were 3,746 housing units at an average density of 731.6/sqmi. The racial makeup of the village was 95.1% White, 0.8% African American, 0.3% Native American, 1.7% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 0.5% from other races, and 1.4% from two or more races.
