Hair Lab Detroit is a private by appointment only, creative environment that provides Detroiters with progressive beauty services that are both efficient and convenient. Our studio is a home to Lauren Moser and Rodrick Samuels, who not only love to share their passion with their clients in Detroit, but also travel the country teaching other professionals, and working on set for photo and video shoots for hair care. They have devoted their lives and careers to building a legacy of beauty, education, and creative genius.

To schedule an appointment, you have many choices. For all non-chemical services, such as cutting and styling, please feel free to use our online booking system. This system operates in real time, to show you what appointments are available for scheduling. Keep in mind this is a computer and only shows what it thinks we can accommodate. If you have a hard time finding an opening that works with your schedule please do not hesitate to call or email us to see if we can squeeze you in! Please keep in mind that our artists are highly in demand. Evening and weekend appointments fill up quickly, so if this is your desired appointment time is is best to call a few weeks before you need to get in. For any Color or Retexurizing services, please call or email. Keep in mind that we operate by appointment only, so if we don't pick up, we may be with a client or out of the salon that day. If you need to cancel, please make an effort to give us 24 hours notice so that we have an opportunity to fill the spot with another appointment.
