Funk Parade 4.77

Funk Parade is a one-of-a-kind parade, street fair, and music festival to celebrate U Street, the District and the spirit of funk. Funk Parade exists to make good things happen by bringing people together and making them feel all right through music, dance and the visual arts.

Funk Parade is supported by a broad group of leaders, businesses and community groups, including Ben’s Chili Bowl, Local 16 and the Howard Theater, ANC 1B, U Street Music Hall, Tropicalia, the Brixton, Bohemian Caverns, Blind Dog Cafe, Twins Jazz, WJLA Channel 7 and dozens more.
