A vibrant worshiping and serving community, the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago is made up of more than 5,400 members from diverse backgrounds, denominations, and faith traditions.

Across from the John Hancock Center and located at the heart of the city, on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, Fourth Church has been an active presence on North Michigan Avenue since 1914.

Ralph Adams Cram designed the 1914 church Sanctuary; its 1914 parish buildings around the courtyard were designed by architect Howard Van Doren Shaw, and the stained glass windows were designed by Charles J. Connick. The interior painting and decoration of the Sanctuary was overseen by Frederick Clay Bartlett. Gensler designed the 2012 Gratz Center addition.
