Flat Iron Exchange:

The Flat Iron Exchange is a new coffeehouse in downtown Bellows Falls. Located at 51 the Square, it will be a creative hub for the community. Open from 6a-9p, 7 days a week, Flat Iron will serve coffee, espresso drinks, hot chocolate and teas. Baked goods will be delivered fresh from local home bakers: cookies, brownies, coffee cakes, savory breads, and special treats. The coffeehouse will be casual with an eclectic feeling; comfort and community will resonate within the walls. Local emerging and established artists will showcase their work and add to the atmosphere. Local musical talent will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities on Flat Iron’s open stage. As a place to gather, the community will find conversations and events at Flat Iron: open mic, poetry slams, comedy, art opening and game nights. As an ecofriendly environment, sustainable, natural and organic products will be served and coffee tasting and education will be available. In support of the community, products such as Suspended Coffee (pay ahead for someone less fortunate) and Disloyalty Cards (customer appreciation cards that will benefit multiple establishments) will be offered, along with tips for non-profits and specials integrated with local events. Flat Iron Exchange will reflect the community, giving visitors a taste of our area.
