Emerson Avenue Community Garden 3.82

When construction is complete, the garden will offer seating areas for conversation and contemplation, a walking spiral for meditation and relaxation, and paths. There will be mulch and compost available for the gardeners as well as local residents.

We are trying to build a very special, very unique Community Garden, in that is on School grounds... the Garden will serve the School children as a learning/edible garden, as well as creating a bridge to the community.

A Co-habited, Co-operative Space... where food is grown and shared bu folks of very diverse ages, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds...

We are very proud of this work, of this goal.

We have committed to doing this with organic best practices in mind; we have committed to having the garden ADA Accessible; We have committed to making this garden a place where one can come, enjoy, learn, share...

You can help us in a number of ways...
1) get the word out... we are looking for partners... both local and universal... Our greatest resource is us.
2) If you are local, come help us do what we are doing - building a garden... can you think of things much more satisfying than creating a garden that will be used by THOUSANDS!
3) share your knowledge - hook us up with funders, tell us what we don't know about bringing in the funding, and partners we need...
