Tamicka Sherneal Copridge is the Pastor of Dixie Highway House of Prayer. The Psalmist currently resides in her birthplace of Louisville, KY., where she was raised and influenced by the unions of proud parents: Minister Odessa and the late Pastor Willie D. Macklin Sr., & Pastor Joe and Minister Helen Saleem-El. She is the proud wife of one of her major supporters, Thaddeus Kirk Copridge Jr.; they recently married in January 2008.

Pastor Copridge first accepted Jesus as her savior and was baptized at the early age of 10 years old. After longing for true change and searching for the unknown; Tamicka found herself enrolling in Gadsden Job Corps in Alabama where she attended Gadsden State and had her first recognized encounter of being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues and noticed she was given the gift of prophesy through dreams in early March 1997 at the age of 21.

Tamicka struggled for months with God’s calling her in the ministry only for Him to show her repeatedly her duties in ministering His word through her daily encounters with other students and in her dreams God’s purpose for her life. Finally, at the age of 23, December 1998 during a Christmas Break home visit, Tamicka delivered her Initial Sermon, followed by preaching a three night revival.

In February 2008, before the death of her Father Pastor Macklin, she was appointed Pastor of the Dixie Highway House of Prayer Church Family, where she delivered her first sermon. Tamicka is a unique Bible teacher that has in the past served as an Usher, Praise Team Leader, Choir Member, Sunday School & Bible Study Teacher, and Minister at many ministries in the Southeast Region.

Behind Pastor Copridge’s beautiful smile and gentle, girlish charm is a story of triumph victory over childhood fears and insecurities. She has overcome many dysfunctional relationships in her early years that push her to dedicate her life to helping others in transforming their circumstances, and in finding the discovery of God’s plan of destiny for their lives. Tamicka’s style of delivering God’s Word has opened many doors for her to be a dedicated prayer intercessor and a women’s conference speaker, who demonstrates an understandable and insightful view of God’s Love and Grace for His People.

As a focused and sold out, Woman of God, Tamicka has a passionate heart for equipping women and men with biblical knowledge to restore and secure the promises of their Christian Heritage. She frequently hosts revivals, conferences, prayer services, outreach ministries and other events to help empower others in the development of Kingdom Living. She currently serves as mentor and overseer of “Women of Faith with a Vision” a monthly women’s ministry that has been in operation for over 5 years, that deals with real… and one would even say “raw” life issues. Creating a safe haven for women to release and be restored.

As Tamicka looks back over her life, she has noticed how her steps have been ordered to set in ministry under some great, renowned, gifted, anointed men and women of God, starting in the great Bluegrass State to the country dirt roads of Alabama, to the sweet taste of the Georgia Peach.

Above all, Pastor Copridge’s primary focus and calling is to firmly stand on the scriptures God gave to her at the time of her calling with zeal to share the Gospel in such a way that is made plain for all ages to understand and be without excuse, Ephesians 6:19-20, which states: And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. And Revelation 10:10-11 (New King James Version) 10 Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. 11 And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
