My name is Gloria Moore, I'm the Owner of Designs By GloriaMichelle https://www.facebook.com/designsbygloriamichelle a Jewelry Company that makes custom jewelry come alive with a personal touch.

I met my husband Scott W. Moore in 2004 and we married on 07/22/2006, I moved from Kansas to Colorado and we made Colorado our home.

In 2008, I didn't think I was able to have any more children after 21 years since my first child was born but we were blessed with a little boy who is 8 years old now. He is our miracle baby. Our family was complete with my older son Tom, his older son Mike and then our son Nicholas.

Then the worst happened - My husband worked for Department of Homeland Security as a Federal Police Officer for 26 years. He was in New York on a Federal Trial during 9/11 and was one of the first responders and deployed there for 9 months. While being there he was exposed to all the toxins from 9/11, later we found out he was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer on May 9th, 2013, he suffered 3 long months and my husband was taken from us on August 9th, 2013 from this awful aggressive disease.

I started Esophageal Cancer Awareness Jewelry Business about a 4 1/2 years ago, but I have been designing Jewelry all my life and already had Designs By GloriaMichelle. I put my business on hold when my husband was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer and recently passed. I started designing and reopened both of my business' for therapy and to support Esophageal Cancer Awareness and to support my son.
I was inspired through my husbands positive attitude and his fight to beat his cancer to continue making jewelry and sharing what I've learned through such an inspiring man. It has been the best therapy anyone could ask for and a long journey.
