Originally a creative sewing machine changed Dayton's history when the Davis Sewing Machine Co. came to town in 1889. In 2015 this same complex is evolving into an important part of the area's future. Artists and crafters have been working in studios here since the 1970s and now expansion of available work areas is taking place to accommodate the need of Dayton's large creative class for work space. Inspiration and collaborations come at no extra cost to as artist-tenants as they exchange ideas, techniques and support.
