Well, it ALL started with a couple of chickens-48 to be exact. When we first moved in, TIm came home with a box for me and it was making chirping sounds. 48 just hatched mixed breeds of chicks.Fancy ones, some ugly ones etc. and I loved them all. After several months in the house- YES, inside my new home- the girls were set free! Free to free range, eat bugs to their hearts content....Our first hatch-lings lived and roamed the farm. Happy Happy Chicks they were. Then along came Me Hawk, Mr Possum, and Mr Raccoon. Seems that they ALL loved chicken for dinner. One by one, our girls met each of the predators.....
