Corydon Civil Defense Fire & Rescue 3.94

Offically founded in 1954 the Corydon Civil Defense Fire & Rescue (CCD) was formed by a dedicated group of men who wanted to provide fire protection to the citizen living outside the city limits of Corydon. In the late 90's the City FD closed its doors and the CCD now is the primary response department to the City along with the out lying area. We operate out of 2-unmanned stations. Recently with the help from Fire Captain P.Brewster and Mayor L.Thurby the CCD was awarded an grant to build us a new fire station.
