Concrete Perceptions is a leading innovator in the world of Decorative Concrete. It was founded in 2008 by Mark and Aylisa Marion, a married couple native to the Ardmore area.

Mark Marion began his career in construction at an early age, working with his grandfather. After highschool he earned a degree in Building Construction Technology in 1982 and began building speculative homes in 1984, specializing in concrete slabs, framing, cabinets and trim. Since then Mark has maintained a reputation as one of the area's premier quality builders, as he is not only a contractor but also a craftsman, with an eye for detail, a wonderful sense of design, and a desire to help clients achieve their goal of a truly unique home.

Aylisa Marion began her career as a paralegal, but eventually took an active role in Mark's homebuilding business, meeting with clients and assisting them with interior design choices. When Mark and Aylisa built their second home together, they discovered they worked well as a team and they started building spec houses together in the Ardmore area in 2000.

In the search for more beautiful, cost-effective, and durable flooring, the couple discovered Decorative Concrete. Mark attending several intensive trainings and they began adding concrete countertops to their spec homes. These were received so well that clients having customs homes built began requesting decorative concrete. The demand only grew from there, and a few short years later every home they built contained decorative concrete.

On December 1st, 2008, Mark and Aylisa opened the doors to their showroom and warehouse at 214 W Main St in beautiful downtown Ardmore, and unveiled the new company name: Concrete Perceptions, Inc. Now it is the central location for all your decorative concrete needs, and is the best example of what concrete has to offer between OKC and Dallas.
