The origin of the club's name "Club 33" is based on its address along Royal Street in New Orleans Square - "33 Royal Street". It was not named after 33 original sponsors of the Park or because 33 turned sideways looks like an "MM" for Mickey Mouse.

*Alcohol*
The Disneyland Resort has a liquor license for the premises, but inside Disneyland, only Club 33 serves alcohol on a regular basis.
