Built in phases from 1952 to 1954, the Cliff May Ranchos in Long Beach exemplify Mid-Century modern living. Designed by Cliff May and Chris Choate, and built by Ross Cortese, the Ranchos celebrate indoor-outdoor living with post & beam construction, open spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and doors opening onto central courtyards.
