CIVIL Works Lawncare Service by NC CIVIL 2.24

Young adults with barriers get a chance at employment and development under an initiative from the local Non Profit - NC CIVIL, with their new Civil Works Landscaping Service. Teams of young people will get concentrated mentoring through NC CIVIL and other business service partners from around the local area.That mentoring will be centered on real work and real service to the community.

Youth participants - age 16 - 26 will work with CIVIL Works Landscaping for 6 – 9 months, be trained not only in lawn care, but also in professional development, as well as social and personal development. Upon successful completion of the program, employees will be connected to other job opportunities in our area. The goal is for each team of workers to move on and make room for a new team of young people to be offered the same opportunity with CIVIL Works Landscaping.
