OUR VISION: Chapman University will be a student-centered institution, recognized nationally and internationally as a center of academic and personal excellence that prepares our students to contribute to a global society.
Within the College of Performing Arts (CoPA), our focus is to cultivate a vibrant atmosphere that combines abundant possibilities for scholarship, creativity, free expression and intellectual curiosity with real world experience. Nowhere is this more evident than through programs such as our Screen Acting degree in partnership with Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, the first of its kind in the country; our exciting partnership with Cirque du Soleil for technical theatre; and our new Master of Music program in Keyboard Collaborative Arts.
Our faculty represent a group of consummate professionals, connected to numerous industry organizations within the arts. These people, accomplished artists in their own right, are dedicated to helping students reach their dreams and aspirations, whether they are pianists, dancers, stage or screen actors, composers, opera singers or students of any one of the numerous programs the college offers.
