Chapel By The Sea 3.3

We are a non-denominational Bible Church, founded in 1958. That original congregation found property way out in the country for their meeting place. Since then Anchorage has reached our campus and even gone beyond. It's no longer a "country church", but it sure feels like home. And yes, it is by the sea.

We are believers in Christ, forgiven by and partnered with God. We stake our lives and eternal destinations on the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus' words: He's the only way to righteousness & heaven.

We are a congregation made up of newborns, 80 somethings, and everything in between. Many young adults have found a home here. A thriving bunch of kids and lively teens are enmeshed in the life of the congregation. You'll find several connection points - smaller groups of people that share the life of Christ and His Word. If you want to be integrated here, you are more than welcome.

Here the Word of God is taught fully, without apology, but with humility. We believe it. We seek to live by it. Support for such teaching and for mission outreach have always been central to the work of Chapel by the Sea.

Finally, we meet in one of the most beautiful settings in all of Anchorage!
