Casellula Cheese & Wine Café has been serving great food, wine, and artfully curated cheese plates in New York City since owner and fromager, Brian Keyser, opened its doors in 2007. After exercising his passion for the restaurant industry at some of New York’s most noted restaurants, including Union Square Café, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and The Modern, Brian foraged his own path and opened Casellula.

In 2015, Brian decided he wanted to branch out and open a second Casellula, but not in New York. Meanwhile, Henry Reese and Diane Samuels, co-founders of Pittsburgh's City of Asylum, were looking to bring a restaurant to their soon-to-be new headquarters, Alphabet City. As luck would have it, a mutual friend introduced them to each other, and the rest is history.

Casellula @ Alphabet City is open for dinner daily & Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
