Canal Boatyard is conveniently located on the Ballard ship canal. The boatyard is equipped a 100’ enclosed work structure; it is the perfect solution to paint jobs, winter projects and other tasks where the great outdoors aren’t so great. Available on site are services that range from commissioning to fiberglass repair by Pacific Fiberglass and Emerald Harbor Marine. High quality mechanical work and turnkey repowers are available from Coastal Marine Engine. For do-it-yourselfers, our yard is accessible 24hrs a day and, a large inventory of supplies makes it easy for maintenance and repairs. Canal Boatyard is gated for safety and security.

Our 55 ton Travelift is operated by an experienced, professional staff. Boom truck service is available for mast stepping and heavy engine lifting. The yard features one of the most advanced environmental care systems in the Northwest. The boat owner can be rest assured that work will be conducted in a clean facility that features all the services that are required. Close by are many good restaurants and even several great micro-breweries, which may come in handy at the end of the workday. A Fred Meyer store is adjacent to the yard.
