We provide high quality gourmet mushrooms that are locally grown and distributed. This is beneficial not only for providing nutritious and unique food to the local community, but also maximizes the quality of the mushroom we are able to deliver. Over half of all mushrooms grown in the US are produced from less than 8 mega-farms found primarily in Pennsylvania and California. This means the mushrooms must travel great distances to reach the consumer, using large amounts of fuel to do so. Mushrooms are also non-conducive to distance-shipping due to their fragile nature and inherently short shelf-life. We pride ourselves in being able to deliver our mushrooms to the consumer within 36 hours of harvest. That way you get the freshest, highest quality mushroom possible.
