Bennington Fire & Rescue. 4.09

Bennington Fire and Rescue is a 100% volunteer fire department and services roughly 42 square miles of northwestern Douglas County, Nebraska including the City of Bennington and 6 square miles of southern Washington County, Nebraska. We provide fire protection and emergency medical services to the residents of our fire district, which includes the cities of Bennington and Washington.

BVFD offers a cadet program for teenagers age 14-18. In this program they will learn a brief over view of what being a fire fighter is like. For more information please contact the department and we will get back to you asap!
