Details

Hugh's Chapel was the original name of our church group. The congregation formed in 1843. The plot on land our church is currently on was deeded to the church in 1877 by B.F. Hudson. A white wooden church was built and used until July 17th 1944 when ground was broken for the a new stone church building. The dedicatory sermon was given in the new Beech Grove United Methodist Church on March 10, 1946.
